How to Capture Product Page Screenshots on Ajio for Competitor Research

Capture a visible Ajio product page, record the details needed for comparison, and understand the limits on commercial use and reuse.

To capture a visible Ajio product page, open the product and the variant you want to document, wait for the relevant details to load, then use your device’s built-in screenshot feature. Save the image with the observation date and keep the product URL, selected variant, displayed price, and capture time in a separate note.

Important: taking a screenshot with a device feature does not grant permission to collect, retain, compare, or republish Ajio content for commercial competitor research. Ajio’s terms restrict commercial use of the platform and its content, collection and use of product listings, descriptions, or prices, and data-mining or similar extraction tools. Get permission or qualified advice before collecting or reusing page content for commercial work. Read Ajio’s terms.

1. Prepare a comparable product-page capture

  1. Open the specific product detail page and select the relevant size, color, or other variant if the page offers one.
  2. Wait for the product image and the visible details you need to finish loading. Record only what is displayed at the time of capture.
  3. Position the page so the product and the relevant information are visible. Keep account details, addresses, payment information, and other personal data out of the screenshot.
  4. Before retaining or using the image for competitor research, check that you have permission for that purpose. The screenshot function itself does not override Ajio’s terms.

A screenshot is a dated record of what appeared on screen. It does not establish current inventory, product condition, or what will be delivered. Ajio’s terms describe product images and visual aids as representations that may not exactly match the delivered product, and say displayed cart prices can change.

2. Capture the visible page on Windows

On Windows 10 or 11, use Snipping Tool:

  1. Open the Ajio product page and arrange the visible details in the browser window.
  2. Press Windows+Shift+S to open the capture overlay.
  3. Choose a rectangular snip and drag around the product information you need. Snipping Tool also offers freeform, window, and full-screen capture modes.
  4. Save the capture and give it a descriptive filename, such as 2026-10-04-brand-product-blue-size-m.png.

Microsoft documents the shortcut and capture modes in its Snipping Tool instructions. A screen capture records the visible area; these instructions do not establish that Ajio provides a full-page screenshot feature.

3. Capture the visible page on iPhone

  1. Open the product page in the Ajio app or a browser and select the variant you want to document.
  2. Use the screenshot button combination for your iPhone model. The button combination differs between Face ID and Touch ID models.
  3. Find the saved screenshot in Photos, the default destination described in Apple’s iPhone guide.
  4. Review the image for personal information before sharing or storing it.

Apple’s iPhone screenshot guide gives model-specific button instructions. This guide does not establish a full-page capture method for Ajio on iPhone.

4. Record the comparison context

Store the screenshot alongside a short record so another person can tell what was observed and when. For each page, note:

  • Brand and product name.
  • Product URL and capture date and time.
  • Selected size, color, or other variant.
  • Displayed price and discount, if shown.
  • Visible availability wording, if shown.
  • Any relevant note about what was visible or still loading.

Use the same fields for every product being compared. Distinguish the page’s displayed price or availability from a claim about the current price, actual stock, or delivered item. Revisit volatile details before publication, and do not treat a screenshot as permission to reproduce protected content.

5. Organize screenshots consistently

  • Use a consistent filename containing the date and a product identifier.
  • Keep the URL and comparison notes in a companion document or approved research record.
  • Preserve the original capture if you make a separate crop for internal analysis; label edits so they are not mistaken for the original page view.
  • Limit access and retention to what your permissions and research purpose allow.
  • Do not infer that a captured price or availability remains current after the timestamp.

6. Troubleshooting

The screenshot misses the price or variant

Reposition the page so the needed details fit in the visible capture area. Confirm the intended size or color is selected before capturing. If the page requires scrolling, capture the relevant visible sections separately and label them clearly; do not present separate captures as one continuous page.

The product image looks blank or incomplete

Wait for the visible image to load, then capture again. If it remains blank, record that state rather than implying the image was available. A screenshot only documents what was displayed at capture time.

The price or availability differs later

Keep the capture timestamp and URL with the image. Prices and availability can change, so check the live page again before making a current claim or publishing a comparison.

The screenshot contains personal information

Do not share it as captured. Make a redacted copy if your permissions allow that use, keep the original access restricted as appropriate, and avoid capturing account, delivery, or payment details in the first place.

You need a full-page image

The cited official instructions establish visible-screen capture steps for Windows and iPhone, not an Ajio-specific full-page feature. Do not assume the operating system capture includes content outside the visible area. Use an approved method only after confirming both technical support and permission for the intended use.

7. Permissions and evidence limits

Ajio’s terms identify Reliance Retail Limited as the platform operator and grant limited, revocable access for purchasing products or using associated services. They describe restrictions on commercial use, collection of listing information and prices, and copying or downloading Reliance Content. Because competitor research may be commercial, do not assume that capturing a page, keeping the image, comparing it, or publishing it is automatically allowed. Obtain permission or qualified advice before commercial collection or reuse.

These steps explain device-level capture only. They do not establish permission to use the captured content, an Ajio-specific full-page screenshot facility, or authoritative Android and macOS capture instructions. For those operating systems, consult the official instructions for the device and version in use.

Or skip the browser setup

If you have permission to capture the target page, ScreenshotNeo can return a screenshot or PDF from one API request. It accepts known cookie and consent banners and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks and CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and the response identifies page verdict and billing status in headers. Its MCP server offers screenshot tools for AI agents. The free plan includes 1,000 shots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. These features do not change Ajio’s terms or grant permission to collect or reuse Ajio content.

See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation. Example request for an authorized page:

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
import requests
r = requests.get("https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot", params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://stripe.com"}, timeout=90)
open("shot.webp", "wb").write(r.content)
const q = new URLSearchParams({ access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', url: 'https://stripe.com' });
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);

Replace the example URL only with a page you are authorized to capture. Sign up for 1,000 free screenshots a month with no card.

FAQ

Does taking a screenshot make Ajio content available for commercial research?

No. Device capture is a technical operation; it does not grant permission under Ajio’s terms. Confirm your rights before commercial collection or reuse.

Does a screenshot prove that a product is in stock?

No. It records what the page displayed at a particular time. Verify current availability separately before making a current claim.

Can I use these steps for Android or macOS?

The cited research confirms Windows and iPhone instructions only. Consult official instructions for the specific Android device or Mac and operating-system version.

Can I treat product photos as exact representations?

No. Ajio’s terms say visual representations are not guaranteed to match the delivered product exactly.
