Browse AI Refund Policy and Cancellation Steps

To stop future Browse AI subscription payments, cancel the subscription in Billing. If you believe you qualify for a refund, email Browse AI separately from the email address you used to sign up. Cancellation does not itself request a refund, and deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Browse AI’s published policy describes conditional refund cases, not a blanket 60-day refund guarantee. The applicable window and requirements depend on whether you are asking about unused-credit renewals or a new monthly or annual plan. Check the official refund policy before sending a request, since policies and dashboard labels can change.

Cancel Browse AI step by step

  1. Sign in as an Admin or Owner. Browse AI says only workspace Admins and Owners can view and manage subscription plans. Members on a free workspace do not have that billing access.
  2. Open Billing in your account dashboard.
  3. Choose Cancel Subscription.
  4. Select a cancellation reason. The cancellation page requires one.
  5. Confirm with Cancel Subscription Renewal. Make sure you reach the confirmation state rather than leaving the flow partway through.
  6. Note the end date and remaining credits shown in the dashboard. The subscription remains active through the current billing cycle; credits expire according to the date indicated there.

Browse AI says robots, task history, and integrations are saved after cancellation, and you can resubscribe later. Its subscription guide says pausing is not available; cancellation is the stated method to stop future subscription payments. See Browse AI’s subscription management guide for the current flow.

Check whether your payment fits a refund case

Browse AI’s refund policy, published March 13, 2026, describes these cases. Match your situation to the requirements rather than relying only on the phrase “up to 60 days.”

Payment situation Published conditions What to include in your request
One or two forgotten renewals The renewal or renewals occurred within the last 60 days, and you have not used credits since the renewal. Renewal dates and a clear note that no credits were used after renewal.
New annual subscription Purchased within the past 30 days; you could not get the software to work; and you reported the issue to Customer Support without resolution. Purchase date, what you were trying to automate, what failed, and the unresolved support conversation.
New monthly subscription You tried the software within the past 14 days without success and reported the issue to Customer Support without resolution. Purchase date, automation goal, challenges encountered, and the unresolved support conversation.

For technical or unsuccessful-use requests, Browse AI asks for details about the automation goal, the challenges, and links to relevant robots where applicable. Its policy says it may decline a request or offer a prorated refund if it believes substantial credits were successfully used and the policy was abused. These conditions are Browse AI’s own published terms, not a guarantee that a specific request will be approved. Read the full refund policy for the wording in effect when you apply.

Request the refund separately

  1. Cancel the subscription renewal in Billing first if your goal is to prevent another charge.
  2. Write to Browse AI support from the same email address used to sign up.
  3. Identify the payment or renewal you want reviewed and state which published case you believe applies.
  4. For an unsuccessful-use claim, explain what you attempted, what prevented success, when you contacted support, and why the issue remains unresolved. Add links to relevant robots if useful.
  5. Keep the sent message and any support reply for your records.

Browse AI says requests are reviewed manually and it usually responds within 2–3 business days. Its policy says it will honor the request based on the date it was sent if its response is late. It estimates 5–10 business days for a Stripe refund to reach the customer’s bank; that is an estimate, and the posting time can depend on the bank. These timelines are from Browse AI’s published policy.

Cancellation, refunds, and account deletion are different

  • Cancellation stops the next subscription renewal; access continues through the current billing period.
  • A refund request asks Browse AI to return an eligible payment and requires a separate support email.
  • Account deletion removes account data through a separate process. Browse AI says paid users should cancel separately first; deleting an account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

If you intend to leave Browse AI and avoid future charges, complete cancellation before pursuing account deletion. See the account and data deletion guide for its separate procedure.

Common problems and fixes

Problem Likely cause What to do
You cannot see Billing or the subscription controls. Your workspace role may not be Admin or Owner, or you may be in a free workspace. Check which account and workspace you signed into. Ask a workspace Admin or Owner to manage billing.
You completed cancellation but see an active subscription. Access continues until the current billing cycle ends. Check the renewal status, cycle end date, and credit expiration in Billing. Contact support if the dashboard still shows a future renewal after confirmation.
You cancelled but have not received money back. Cancellation and refund review are separate; a refund is not automatic. Send the refund request from your signup email and include the relevant payment details. Allow for Browse AI’s stated review and bank-processing estimates.
Your refund request was denied for a failed automation. The published new-plan cases require unsuccessful use and that you reported the problem to support without resolution. The renewal case has a separate no-credit-use condition. Review the applicable case and provide the prior support conversation, dates, and relevant robot links. The policy does not promise approval outside its conditions.
You deleted your account but a subscription charge is still possible. Account deletion does not cancel a paid subscription automatically. Contact Browse AI support and confirm the subscription is cancelled. Follow the deletion guide’s paid-user instructions.
You cannot pause the plan. Browse AI’s subscription guide says pausing is not available. Use the cancellation flow to stop future subscription payments, then resubscribe later if needed.

Billing changes and refund expectations

Do not treat an upgrade or downgrade as a cancellation or refund. Browse AI’s subscription-change guide says changing tiers charges the full price of the new plan immediately, carries remaining credits into the new plan’s allowance for the current cycle, and resets the billing date. Those details concern tier changes; they do not establish a cancellation credit, refund, or proration entitlement. See the subscription change guide.

Browse AI’s pricing page lists a free option and paid plans, but prices and plan details can change. Check the current pricing page before making a billing decision. This guide does not estimate savings or infer a refund amount, since that depends on the payment and the policy case.

Or skip the browser setup

If you are cancelling Browse AI because you need website screenshots rather than browser automation, ScreenshotNeo is a screenshot API and MCP server. It does not replace Browse AI’s subscription cancellation or refund process. For screenshot work, one GET request returns an image or PDF; see the ScreenshotNeo API documentation.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp

Cookie banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets are removed before the shot. Bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are never billed. An MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. Sign up for 1,000 free screenshots a month, with no card required.

FAQ

Does cancelling Browse AI delete my robots?

Browse AI says robots, task history, and integrations are saved after cancellation. Cancellation leaves the account available through the current billing period.

Can I get a refund just because I cancelled?

Cancellation alone does not qualify a payment for a refund. The published cases depend on renewal credit use or on a new plan’s billing type, timing, unsuccessful use, and unresolved support report.

Should I delete my account to stop billing?

No. Browse AI’s deletion guide says deletion does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Cancel separately first.

How long does Browse AI take to answer a refund request?

Browse AI says manual review usually takes 2–3 business days. It estimates 5–10 business days for an approved Stripe refund to reach the bank; bank posting times vary.

Do I need to cancel before contacting support?

The published cancellation and refund processes are separate. If stopping renewal is the goal, cancel in Billing, then send a separate refund request if a policy case applies.
