How to Capture a Page Behind an Indian Website’s Cookie Consent Banner in Hindi

Choose the site’s cookie option, capture the visible page as an image or PDF, and reset Chrome’s saved site choice if the banner is missing.

To capture a page hidden behind an Indian website’s cookie consent banner, first use the banner’s own controls to reject, customize, or accept cookies according to your preference. Once the page is visible, use your browser’s screenshot command for an image or print-to-PDF for a document. The exact menu names and full-page options depend on your browser, operating system, and version.

1. Choose an option on the website’s banner

  1. Open the page and read the consent choices.
  2. If offered, choose Reject or an equivalent option to decline optional cookies, Manage or Customize to choose categories, or Accept if that is your preference.
  3. Wait for the page to update. If the banner closes but content is still obscured, reload once or use the site’s cookie settings or policy link.

You do not have to accept optional cookies just to try to view a page. The available controls vary by site. For example, the [National Film Archives of India cookie policy](https://www.nfsa.gov.in/portal/CookiePolicy.aspx) says essential cookies cannot be rejected and that rejecting optional cookies may restrict some functionality or site areas. The [Department of Economic Affairs cookie settings](https://www.dea.gov.in/cookie-setting) describe essential and optional categories. These are examples of individual sites’ policies, not a claim that all Indian websites use the same categories or controls.

2. Capture the visible page as an image or PDF

After the banner is dismissed and the content you want is visible, choose an output:

Output Use it for What to check
Screenshot image A visual record, a section to share, or a page as it currently appears Whether the capture includes only the visible viewport or the full page
Print to PDF A document you can save, search, or print Page breaks, background graphics, and whether the printed layout matches the page
  1. Use your browser or operating system’s current screenshot command, then save the captured image.
  2. For a PDF, open the browser’s print command, select the option to save or print to PDF, review the preview, and save.
  3. If you need the whole page in one image, check the browser’s current help or capture menu for a full-page option. Its availability and name differ by browser, operating system, and release.

There is no universal screenshot shortcut or guaranteed full-page command across browsers and platforms. Consult the current help for your browser and operating system rather than relying on a key combination that may not apply to your setup.

3. If the banner is missing, reset Chrome’s saved choice

A site may remember a previous consent choice in a cookie. If you need to make a fresh choice and the banner no longer appears, Chrome DevTools can show and delete cookies for the site’s origin. Cookie tools manage saved site state; they do not capture the page.

  1. Open the site in Chrome and open DevTools using Chrome’s current menu or help instructions.
  2. Select Application > Storage > Cookies. In Hindi-language DevTools, the labels may be localized; the corresponding English labels are included because browser language settings vary.
  3. Select the site’s origin in the cookie list.
  4. Delete the site’s cookies using the controls shown in DevTools, then reload the page.
  5. When the banner appears again, make your choice using the website’s own controls.

Chrome’s [official DevTools cookie guide](https://developer.chrome.com/docs/devtools/application/cookies?authuser=48) explains how to view, add, edit, and delete cookies for an origin. Hindi-language guidance is available in [Chrome cookie management help](https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647?tid=111388090) and the [Hindi DevTools cookie guide](https://developer.chrome.google.cn/docs/devtools/application/cookies?hl=hi).

Before deleting cookies: this can erase saved site preferences and may sign you out. If you only need to dismiss a banner that is currently visible, use the banner’s controls instead of clearing storage.

4. When the banner persists or the page still will not display

  • Use the site’s cookie settings or policy link. Some sites let you revisit or change the choice there.
  • Try a private window or a separate browser profile if you want to see the site without changing cookies in your usual profile. Site behavior may still differ.
  • Reload after making a choice. A page may need to reload before its content or layout updates.
  • Contact the site if the banner blocks access and its controls do not work.

Do not edit a consent cookie to manufacture a choice or bypass the banner. Make the decision through the site’s own controls.

5. Or skip the browser setup

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. A single API request can return a screenshot or PDF. For a page capture, use the API with an access key and the target URL; see the [ScreenshotNeo API documentation](https://screenshotneo.com/docs/) for options and setup.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
import requests
r = requests.get("https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot", params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://stripe.com"}, timeout=90)
open("shot.webp", "wb").write(r.content)
const q = new URLSearchParams({ access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', url: 'https://stripe.com' });
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);
  • Cookie banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets are removed before the shot.
  • Bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are never billed. Response headers say whether a capture was billed and identify the page verdict.
  • An MCP server lets AI agents use take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf.
  • The Free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots.

Troubleshooting

Problem Likely cause What to do
The banner covers the page after choosing an option The site has not updated the page, or the choice did not register Wait briefly, reload, and check the site’s cookie settings. If needed, contact the site.
The banner does not appear again The site may have saved an earlier choice in cookies In Chrome, inspect and delete cookies for that origin in DevTools, then reload and choose through the banner.
Deleting cookies logs you out or resets preferences Cookies can store sign-in state and site preferences Sign in again or restore preferences as needed. Clear only the relevant site’s cookies.
The screenshot contains only part of the page The browser captured the visible viewport, or full-page capture is unavailable in that environment Check the browser’s current capture menu or help for full-page support; otherwise capture sections or save a PDF.
The PDF has awkward page breaks or missing backgrounds Print layout differs from the on-screen page or background printing is disabled Review print preview and available print settings, then save another copy.
Rejecting optional cookies makes part of the site unavailable The site may rely on optional categories for some features Review the site’s policy and settings. Choose only what you are comfortable allowing; some functionality may remain limited.
