How to Export Browse AI Data to Google Sheets in India

Connect a Browse AI robot to Google Sheets, choose what syncs, and troubleshoot missing data. The documented setup is the standard workflow; India-specific terms are unverified.

To export a Browse AI robot’s captured data to Google Sheets, open the robot’s Integrate tab, enable Google Sheets syncing, authorize the Google account, select or create a spreadsheet, choose which records to sync, and run the robot from Overview. The documented instructions describe this standard setup; they do not confirm India-specific availability, billing, or data-residency terms.

Before you start

  • The robot should be approved and have extracted data.
  • You need access to the Google account that should connect to the destination.
  • You can create a new spreadsheet during setup. If you select an existing spreadsheet, the authorized Google account needs Edit access.

Connect Browse AI to Google Sheets

  1. Sign in to Browse AI and open the robot that collected the data.
  2. Choose the robot’s Integrate tab.
  3. Select Google Sheets, then choose Enable Syncing to Google Sheet.
  4. Under Choose authorized account, authorize the Google account that has access to the destination spreadsheet.
  5. Select an existing spreadsheet in Google Drive or create a new one. For an existing spreadsheet, confirm that the authorized account has Edit access.
  6. Choose a sync mode: Changed or added data, Only changed data, or Only added data.
  7. Open the robot’s Overview tab and run the task.
  8. Open the selected spreadsheet and check the worksheet tabs for the extracted data. The output may appear on a different worksheet than the one initially open.

Browse AI says each task run or monitoring check appends newly captured data to the Google Sheet. If the robot is already connected to an integrated spreadsheet, its output can use a fresh worksheet. For guidance, see Browse AI’s Google Sheets sync instructions.

Choose what data to sync

Option What it syncs Useful when
Changed or added data Entries Browse AI identifies as changed or newly added since earlier runs. You want both updates to existing entries and new entries.
Only changed data Entries that differ from earlier extractions. You are monitoring existing records for updates.
Only added data Entries absent from previous runs. You want newly discovered records without repeated unchanged entries.

Browse AI describes changed entries as those identified by comparing the latest extraction with earlier runs; an entry is added if it was absent from previous runs. These sync choices leave existing sheet data unchanged. Sync timing follows the robot’s task or monitoring schedule. See the official explanation of syncing new or updated data.

Set up recurring updates

After enabling the integration, each time the task runs—or a monitoring check runs—newly captured data is appended to the sheet. Set the robot’s schedule to control how often it runs, then confirm that the integration is connected to the intended spreadsheet. The available documentation describes sync frequency as following the robot’s schedule; it does not specify a separate Google Sheets schedule.

If several robots contribute data, Browse AI directs users to Google Sheets formulas to combine the robots’ worksheet tabs into one view. The integration itself may place a robot’s output on a separate worksheet.

India-specific considerations

The reviewed Browse AI instructions explain Google account authorization, Drive spreadsheet selection, and the Edit permission needed for an existing spreadsheet. They do not document an India-specific setup path or confirm regional availability, pricing, taxes, compliance requirements, or data residency. Check the current product terms or ask Browse AI support if any of those details affect your use case.

One-time export and other destinations

For a one-time handoff, Browse AI’s official materials also describe direct CSV and JSON downloads. For recurring spreadsheet updates, use the Google Sheets integration and robot schedule. Browse AI’s materials also identify integrations with other applications, AWS S3, APIs, and webhooks; choose based on the destination and workflow you need. See the Browse AI integrations page and its overview of robots and their capabilities.

Or skip the browser setup

If the job is capturing a web page as an image or PDF, ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server from Yorker Media. One GET request can return a screenshot or PDF. It removes cookie banners, popups, and chat widgets before the shot; bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are never billed; its MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots; and 1,000 screenshots a month are free with no card, with paid plans starting at $5 for 3,000. That is separate from Browse AI extraction and Google Sheets syncing.

cURL (replace the target URL as needed):

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp

Python (requires the requests package):

import requests

r = requests.get(
    "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot",
    params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://stripe.com"},
    timeout=90,
)
open("shot.webp", "wb").write(r.content)

Node.js (using a runtime with built-in fetch):

const q = new URLSearchParams({ access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', url: 'https://stripe.com' });
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`Screenshot request failed: ${res.status}`);
const bytes = Buffer.from(await res.arrayBuffer());
await import('node:fs/promises').then(fs => fs.writeFile('shot.webp', bytes));

See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options. Start with 1,000 free screenshots per month with no card.

Troubleshooting

Symptom Likely cause What to do
The spreadsheet looks empty. You may be viewing the wrong spreadsheet or worksheet, or the robot ran before syncing was enabled. Verify the selected spreadsheet and inspect its worksheet tabs. After enabling the integration, run the task again. Do not assume setup retroactively backfills earlier runs.
The existing spreadsheet is unavailable or cannot be selected. The authorized Google account may not have Edit access. Authorize the account with Edit access to that spreadsheet, or choose to create a new spreadsheet.
No new rows appear after a run. The chosen sync mode may exclude records that are unchanged, or the task may not have completed with newly captured data. Check the robot’s latest extraction and review whether the selected mode is changed-only or added-only. Run the task after integration setup.
Data appears in an unexpected tab. The robot may output to a different worksheet, including a fresh worksheet for a connected robot. Inspect all worksheet tabs in the selected spreadsheet.
Updates arrive less often than expected. Sync follows the robot’s task or monitoring schedule. Review the robot schedule and confirm that the task or monitoring check is running.

Performance, reliability, and cost notes

  • Freshness: the sheet updates when a task or monitoring check runs. Faster updates therefore depend on the robot’s schedule.
  • Record selection: choose the sync mode that matches whether you need changed entries, added entries, or both. Existing sheet content is left unchanged by these modes.
  • Reliability checks: verify the correct authorized account, spreadsheet, worksheet, and successful task run before treating a blank sheet as a failed export.
  • Cost and regional terms: the cited setup material does not establish Browse AI pricing or India-specific billing terms. Review the current account terms for your situation.

FAQ

Can I send data from several robots to one worksheet?

Browse AI points users to Google Sheets formulas to combine data from multiple robot tabs. The integration may give each robot a separate worksheet.

Does enabling the integration copy every previous run into the sheet?

The support instructions say to run the task again if it was run before integration setup. They do not promise a retroactive backfill.

Can I export without connecting Google Sheets?

Yes. Browse AI’s official materials describe CSV and JSON downloads for direct export.
