To capture a website as it appears on a physical Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, open it in the phone’s browser and press and release the Side button and Volume down button together. The screenshot is saved in Gallery’s Screenshots album. For a long page, check the screenshot toolbar for Capture more.

Samsung India lists the Galaxy A15 5G display at 1080 × 2340 pixels (FHD+). That is the panel resolution; it does not mean a desktop browser should use a 1080-pixel CSS viewport to imitate the phone. Use the handset for a genuine device capture, and use browser emulation to inspect responsive layouts. Samsung India’s Galaxy A15 5G specifications document the panel resolution.

1. Take a website screenshot on the Galaxy A15

  1. Connect to the network you want to use and open the website in your browser.
  2. Navigate to the page and position it where you want the screenshot to begin.
  3. Press and release the Side button and Volume down button at the same time. Do not hold them down.
  4. Use the toolbar preview if you need to crop, share, or capture additional content. Find the saved image in Gallery’s Screenshots album.

Samsung’s Galaxy A15 5G user guide describes the button shortcut and an optional palm-swipe gesture. There is no separate India-only screenshot procedure established by the cited guidance.

Optional: use palm swipe

If you prefer a gesture, enable Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures > Palm swipe to capture. Then swipe the edge of your hand across the screen while keeping it in contact with the display. Menu wording can vary with software version; if you cannot find the setting, use the button shortcut.

2. Capture a long webpage

First take a normal screenshot. If the screenshot toolbar offers Capture more, tap it and extend the captured area, then save the result. Google says scrolling screenshots are available on Android 12 and later on most screens that allow scrolling; the option can depend on the screen and app. See Google’s screenshot and scrolling screenshot instructions.

  • If the page is very long, capture it in sections if the scroll control stops early.
  • Some content loads only as you scroll. Scroll through the page first so lazy-loaded images and sections have a chance to appear, then capture.
  • For evidence of the entire page, keep the original screenshots as well as any stitched or extended result. A long capture can make small text hard to read.
  • Some apps or protected screens do not allow screenshots. A browser capture cannot override an app’s screenshot restrictions.

3. Understand “Galaxy A15 size” for responsive testing

There are two different goals that are often described as a screenshot “at Galaxy A15 size”:

Method What the result represents Useful for Limit
Capture on the Galaxy A15 The actual screen as rendered on that handset, including browser and system interface unless settings or cropping change the composition. Real-device evidence, bug reports, and examples of what a user sees. Requires access to the handset. Scrolling capture may not be available on every screen.
Browser responsive emulation A page rendered at a configured browser viewport. Checking breakpoints and iterating on responsive CSS. It is not a screenshot from the physical phone. The panel’s 1080-pixel width is not the CSS viewport width.

A physical screen’s pixel resolution and a browser’s CSS viewport are different measurements. Browser and display configuration affect the CSS viewport, and the cited sources do not establish one precise default CSS viewport width for the Galaxy A15. Do not claim that a 1080 CSS-pixel emulation is an exact A15 match based only on the display specification.

For a browser-based approximation, open developer tools’ responsive mode, choose or enter a viewport based on the dimensions you intend to test, and record those dimensions with the screenshot. Treat the result as viewport testing, not proof of appearance on a Galaxy A15. Compare it with a capture from the handset when device-specific rendering matters.

4. Choose what appears in the capture

Decide whether your screenshot should include the status and navigation bars, browser controls, cookie prompts, and any open menus. Samsung documents screenshot settings for hiding status and navigation bars and choosing JPG or PNG. These settings affect the composition and output, so note them when sharing a reproducible bug report. See the Galaxy A15 user guide.

  • Keep system bars when documenting what a user actually saw, including available screen space.
  • Hide or crop system bars when the page content itself is the subject. Record that you changed the setting or cropped the image.
  • Choose PNG when crisp text and UI detail matter; choose JPG when a smaller photographic image is more useful. The available format option is documented in the phone guide.
  • Check sensitive content such as account details, notifications, and private URLs before sharing a screenshot.

5. Or skip the browser setup

For a website screenshot generated from a URL, ScreenshotNeo offers a one-request API. It captures a web page as an image or PDF; it does not create a screenshot from a physical Galaxy A15. Its output is useful for automated page captures and browser-based checks, while the handset steps above remain the way to document the actual phone. See the ScreenshotNeo website and API documentation.

Example: request a PNG capture of a page at the URL you want to inspect. Store your API key securely and replace the example URL as needed.

cURL

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp

Python

import requests

r = requests.get(
    "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot",
    params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://stripe.com"},
    timeout=90,
)
open("shot.webp", "wb").write(r.content)

Node.js

const q = new URLSearchParams({ access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', url: 'https://stripe.com' });
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`Screenshot request failed: ${res.status}`);
const image = Buffer.from(await res.arrayBuffer());
await import('node:fs/promises').then(fs => fs.writeFile('shot.webp', image));

ScreenshotNeo accepts cookie or consent banners like a visitor and removes 60+ known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and response headers identify the page verdict and billing status. It also has an MCP server with take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf tools for AI agents.

The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card. Paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots; every feature is on every plan. Sign up for 1,000 free screenshots a month, with no card required.

6. Troubleshooting

Symptom Likely cause What to try
The button shortcut does nothing. The buttons were held rather than pressed and released together, a button is damaged, storage is full, or the screen restricts screenshots. Press and release Side and Volume down together. Check available storage. Try palm swipe if enabled. Some protected screens cannot be captured.
There is no “Capture more” option. The screen or app may not support scrolling capture, or the screenshot toolbar has closed. Take another screenshot and check the toolbar promptly. Use separate captures for the page sections if the option is unavailable.
The long screenshot cuts off or repeats content. The page may use dynamic content, nested scrolling, sticky elements, or content that loads during scrolling. Let the page finish loading, scroll it manually first, and capture in shorter sections. Avoid treating a stitched image as a pixel-perfect record of a changing page.
The saved screenshot has unexpected bars or format. Screenshot settings may hide the status or navigation bars or select a different image format. Review Settings > Advanced features > Screenshots and check the saved file before sharing.
A responsive emulation does not match the handset. The emulated CSS viewport, browser chrome, device settings, or page state differs from the physical phone. Record the emulated viewport and browser, then compare with an on-device capture. Do not infer CSS width from the 1080 × 2340 panel specification alone.

Google’s general screenshot guidance also lists storage space, broken buttons, incognito or privacy restrictions, and apps that block screenshots as possible causes. See Android’s screenshot troubleshooting article.

7. Reliability and workflow notes

  • For a reproducible report, include the page URL, date, browser, whether the capture came from the physical phone or emulation, and whether system bars were hidden.
  • For a page that changes after loading, wait until the relevant content is visible. Record whether you were signed in and whether cookie choices had already been made.
  • Keep an untouched original capture before cropping or annotating it. This helps distinguish the device output from later edits.
  • For automated captures, a URL screenshot API is easier to repeat than manually operating a phone, but its browser-rendered output should not be represented as a physical Galaxy A15 screenshot.

FAQ

Does Galaxy A15 size mean 1080 pixels wide in Chrome?

No. Samsung lists 1080 × 2340 as the panel resolution. That does not establish the browser’s CSS viewport width.

Can I capture the whole website with one screenshot?

Sometimes. Use Capture more if the toolbar offers it. Google says scrolling capture works on Android 12 and later on most scrollable screens, so availability is not guaranteed for every page.

Is a desktop browser screenshot the same as a Galaxy A15 screenshot?

No. Responsive emulation is useful for layout testing, but only a capture made on the handset documents the page as rendered on that physical device.

Where does the screenshot go?

Samsung’s guide says screenshots are available in Gallery’s Screenshots album.
