How to Screenshot a Website on an Oppo Phone Without Cutting Off the Page

Use OPPO’s Long Screenshot or Scroll option to capture a webpage beyond the screen. Steps can vary by ColorOS version and phone model.

To capture a whole webpage on an Oppo phone, take a regular screenshot, tap Long Screenshot or Scroll in the screenshot preview, scroll to the end of the content you want, and tap Done or Complete. OPPO’s support instructions describe this workflow for ColorOS 6.1 and later; names and menus can vary by model and software version. OPPO Support

Capture a full webpage on an Oppo phone

  1. Open the webpage and wait for the part you need to finish loading.
  2. Take a screenshot by pressing Power + Volume Down together. If you have enabled the three-finger screenshot gesture, you can use that instead.
  3. Tap the screenshot preview while it is visible.
  4. Choose Long Screenshot or Scroll. Depending on the device, a Scroll icon may appear below the preview.
  5. Scroll through the webpage until the preview includes the final section you want. Check the bottom edge so you do not stop too early.
  6. Tap Done or Complete to save. OPPO says the image is saved in Photos.

The important step is choosing the stopping point yourself: scroll far enough to include the page’s ending, then check the preview before saving. OPPO documents the feature for webpages but does not guarantee that every site will stitch without gaps or rendering problems.

Check your ColorOS version if the controls differ

Open Settings and look under About Phone or About Device for the ColorOS version. OPPO recommends checking the installed version because settings and paths differ between releases. Its ColorOS 6.1 guide describes taking a screenshot, tapping Long Screenshot, and following the prompts to scroll. ColorOS 6.1 User Guide

Some releases documented different behavior. OPPO’s ColorOS 7.2 announcement describes three-finger scrolling screenshots that automatically move across multiple pages. That release-specific description does not establish that automatic scrolling is available on every Oppo phone. ColorOS 7.2: What’s New

For an older example, the ColorOS 3.1 guide describes holding Power + Volume Up and manually pressing Page-down to advance, with a stated 40-page limit for that release. Do not assume that combination or limit applies to current devices. ColorOS 3.1 User Guide

Troubleshooting

Problem Likely cause What to try
No Long Screenshot or Scroll option The preview disappeared, the feature is named differently on this ColorOS version, or the current screen does not offer scrolling capture. Take another screenshot and tap its preview immediately. Check Settings > About Phone or About Device for the ColorOS version, then look for a Scroll icon below the preview or follow the model-specific guide.
The saved image ends too early The capture was completed before scrolling to the desired endpoint. Repeat the capture, scroll farther, and verify the bottom of the preview includes the final section before tapping Done or Complete.
The screenshot has gaps or the page looks misaligned The page may not stitch cleanly during scrolling; OPPO does not promise compatibility with every webpage. Try again after the page has loaded, scroll steadily, and inspect the preview. If the result still has gaps, capture shorter sections as separate screenshots.
The button shortcut does not work The buttons may not have been pressed together, or the device’s setup may differ. Press Power and Volume Down at the same time. If the three-finger gesture is enabled, use it as an alternative and check the device settings for screenshot options.
The page stops advancing automatically Automatic scrolling is release-specific; not every phone supports it. Use the scrolling controls in the screenshot preview manually, or check the model-specific instructions for your ColorOS release.

Or skip the browser setup

If you need a website screenshot from code rather than your phone, ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. One GET request returns a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF; see the ScreenshotNeo API docs.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
import requests

r = requests.get(
    "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot",
    params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://stripe.com"},
    timeout=90,
)
open("shot.webp", "wb").write(r.content)
const q = new URLSearchParams({ access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', url: 'https://stripe.com' });
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);
  • Cookie banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets are removed before the screenshot; each cleanup step can be turned off.
  • Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing. Response headers report the page verdict and whether the request was billed.
  • An MCP server gives AI agents tools to take screenshots, get page information, and capture PDFs.
  • The Free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card. Paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots.

FAQ

Where does Oppo save a long screenshot?

OPPO’s support instructions say the screenshot is saved in Photos.

Can I capture any webpage as one long image?

The feature is intended for long content such as webpages, but OPPO does not guarantee that every site will stitch perfectly. Check the preview and use separate captures if the page renders poorly.

Is the three-finger gesture required?

No. OPPO documents Power + Volume Down as the screenshot shortcut in its current support instructions. Three-finger capture is an alternative where enabled.
