How to Take a Full Webpage Screenshot on a Redmi Note Phone in Chrome
Use Chrome’s Long screenshot option to capture a scrolling webpage on a Redmi Note. Here’s how to save it, plus Android and Incognito troubleshooting.
To capture a full webpage in Chrome on a Redmi Note, open the page, tap More (⋮) → Share → Long screenshot, adjust the crop handles, and tap Confirm. Save the result to your phone or share it with another app. This is Chrome’s documented route on Android; the exact appearance can vary with your Chrome and phone software versions. Google’s Chrome instructions.
Capture a webpage with Chrome’s Long screenshot
- Open Chrome on your Redmi Note and navigate to the webpage you want to capture.
- Tap More (⋮) beside the address bar.
- Tap Share.
- Choose Long screenshot. If the option appears lower in the share screen, scroll to find it.
- Drag the crop handles to include the part of the page you need. You can capture a portion of the full page rather than its entire length.
- Tap Confirm, then save the image on the device or choose an app to share it.
Menu placement and labels may differ slightly by Chrome release, Android version, and Redmi Note software build. The route above is Chrome’s documented Android flow, not a guarantee that every Redmi Note model displays identical menus.
Choose the right capture method
| Method | Use it when | Limit to know |
|---|---|---|
| Chrome Long screenshot | You want a scrolling capture of a webpage open in Chrome. | Requires the option to be available in your Chrome version and context. |
| Android Capture more | Chrome’s option is missing and the screen is scrollable. | Google documents this for Android 12 and later on most screens that allow scrolling; availability and wording can vary. |
| Regular screenshot | You only need what is currently visible. | It captures the visible screen, not the entire webpage. |
Use Android’s Capture more fallback
If Chrome does not show Long screenshot, try Android’s built-in scrolling capture. Google documents this for Android 12 and later on most scrollable screens:
- Open the webpage and scroll to the part where you want to begin.
- Press Power and Volume down together to take a screenshot.
- Tap Capture more if that control appears.
- Adjust the crop guides to include the desired page length, then save the capture.
This is a general Android fallback, not a Redmi-specific menu guarantee. If the Capture more control is absent, the current screen, Android version, or software build may not support scrolling capture there. Google’s Android screenshot instructions.
Or skip the browser setup
If you need a webpage screenshot from code or an automated workflow, ScreenshotNeo captures a URL with one GET request. This is for capturing a webpage from a server-side workflow; it does not control Chrome on your phone. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation.
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
import requests
r = requests.get(
"https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot",
params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://stripe.com"},
timeout=90,
)
open("shot.webp", "wb").write(r.content)
const q = new URLSearchParams({ access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', url: 'https://stripe.com' });
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);
ScreenshotNeo accepts cookie and consent banners and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and response headers report the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server lets AI agents use screenshot, page-info, and PDF-capture tools. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots.

Troubleshooting
“Long screenshot” is missing
Confirm you opened the page in Chrome and checked More → Share. Chrome menus can vary by version. If the option still is not available, try Android’s Capture more fallback on a scrollable screen, if your Android version and device offer it.
Chrome says screenshots are not allowed
Check whether the page is open in an Incognito tab. Chrome does not permit screenshots in Incognito; open the same page in a regular tab and try again. Google’s Incognito instructions.
Capture more does not appear
Android’s documented system flow applies to Android 12 and later on most screens that allow scrolling. Check that the page can scroll and try Chrome’s Long screenshot route. Labels and support can differ by software build.
The saved capture is shorter than expected
Before confirming, inspect the crop handles and extend them to the desired length. The Chrome flow lets you choose how much of the page to include; it does not require capturing the full document.
The result is not the whole page
Make sure you chose Long screenshot or Capture more, rather than saving an ordinary screenshot. The regular screenshot shortcut captures the visible screen only.
Practical notes
- Page length: Choose only the portion you need; a very long page can be harder to review and share.
- Dynamic content: A webpage may change as it loads or scrolls. Let the content settle before starting and check the crop before saving.
- Sharing: After confirming, save locally for later or share directly through the available Android share options.
- Model differences: Redmi Note model, Android release, MIUI or HyperOS version, and region were not specified. Treat Google’s Android guidance as the reference for Chrome and the general system fallback, and expect device menus to vary.
FAQ
Does this work on every Redmi Note?
The Chrome instructions describe Chrome on Android. The exact option depends on the Chrome and phone software versions, so it may not appear identically on every Redmi Note.
Can I capture only part of a long webpage?
Yes. Drag the crop handles to select the length you want before tapping Confirm.
Can I take a scrolling screenshot in Incognito?
No. Chrome blocks screenshots in Incognito. Open the page in a regular tab.
Do I need an extra screenshot app?
Try Chrome’s Long screenshot first, or Android’s Capture more fallback where supported. These documented flows do not require installing a separate capture app.
