How to Capture a Website Screenshot at Samsung Galaxy F15 Resolution

Capture a visible webpage or extend the screenshot down the page on a Samsung Galaxy F15. Learn the button steps, limits, and a browser-free API option.

On a Samsung Galaxy F15, open the website and press the Side and Volume Down buttons together, then release them. That saves a screenshot of what is currently visible. To capture more of a long webpage, tap Scroll capture in the toolbar that appears, repeating the tap until you have the section you need.

Samsung’s documentation describes this process but does not establish one exact saved-image width, height, or maximum scroll length for every F15 software version. If by “F15 resolution” you mean the screenshot’s pixel dimensions, check the saved file on your own phone rather than inferring them from the display’s advertised specifications.

1. Capture a visible webpage

  1. Open the website in your browser and position the page so the content you want is visible.
  2. Press the Side button and Volume Down button at the same time.
  3. Release both buttons. The screenshot is saved and the capture toolbar may appear.
  4. Open Gallery to review the screenshot. Use the toolbar’s available options to crop, draw on, tag, or share it.

This standard capture includes the screen as it appears at that moment. It does not automatically include content farther down the page.

2. Capture a longer webpage with Scroll capture

  1. Start with a normal screenshot using Side + Volume Down.
  2. When the toolbar appears, tap the Scroll capture icon. The page should scroll and add more content to the image.
  3. Tap the icon again as needed to extend the capture farther down.
  4. Stop when the screenshot covers the section you need, then review the result in Gallery.

The Scroll capture control only appears when the screen has additional scrollable content, and Samsung notes that it may be unavailable on some websites or apps. If the page does not extend, try a normal screenshot or capture several separate screenshots.

3. If the screenshot toolbar is missing

Check the F15 guide’s setting for the capture toolbar: Settings → Advanced features → Screenshots → Show toolbar after capturing. Turn it on if it is off. Menu labels and availability can vary by software version.

You can also initiate a regular screenshot using Palm swipe, if enabled: swipe the edge of your hand across the screen. To enable it, the F15 guide gives the path Settings → Advanced features → Motions and gestures → Palm swipe to capture. Once a normal screenshot is taken, use Scroll capture if its icon is available.

4. What “F15 resolution” means for a saved screenshot

A screenshot captures the rendered screen; a scrolling capture extends beyond the initially visible area. The documentation consulted for this guide does not guarantee a fixed output pixel size or a universal maximum length for screenshots across F15 software builds. Do not assume that display marketing figures equal the saved image’s dimensions.

To find the actual dimensions, open the saved file in Gallery and view its details or file information. For a long capture, check the resulting image itself: its height depends on how much content was captured, and the source guidance does not specify a maximum length.

5. Limits and edge cases

  • No Scroll capture icon: It may be a one-screen view, or that app or webpage may not support scrolling capture.
  • Protected content: Some apps or screens block screenshots for privacy or security reasons. The phone’s capture controls cannot override that restriction.
  • Different software versions: Settings names and feature availability can vary by model, software version, or wireless service provider.
  • Android guidance: Google describes scrolling screenshots on Android 12 and later for most screens that allow scrolling. This general guidance is not a guarantee for every F15 build or website.
  • Page changes while capturing: Dynamic pages can move or update as you scroll. If the long image is incomplete or awkwardly joined, try again after the page settles, or capture separate sections.

6. Troubleshooting

Problem Likely cause What to try
No screenshot is saved The buttons were not pressed together, or the screen blocks capture. Press Side and Volume Down simultaneously and release. If capture remains blocked, the app or screen may restrict screenshots.
The toolbar does not appear Its setting may be off, or the software version may present different controls. Check Settings → Advanced features → Screenshots → Show toolbar after capturing. Review the saved image in Gallery.
Scroll capture is not shown There may be no content beyond the screen, or the website/app may not support the feature. Scroll the page slightly and take another screenshot. If the control still does not appear, save separate screenshots.
The long screenshot stops early The capture control was tapped only once, or the screen limited scrolling capture. Tap Scroll capture again to extend it, if the control remains available. Check the final image in Gallery.
Palm swipe does nothing The gesture may be disabled or performed in a way the phone does not recognize. Enable Palm swipe to capture in Motions and gestures, or use Side + Volume Down.

7. Capture a website from code instead

If you need a repeatable image for documentation or a development workflow, a website screenshot API can capture a URL from a server rather than from the phone’s current screen. For an exact visual match to the Galaxy F15, the capture viewport and page state must be configured to match what you want to inspect; this phone guide does not provide a verified F15 pixel viewport preset.

Or skip the browser setup

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. A GET request takes a URL and returns an image or PDF. See the API documentation for parameters and setup.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" \
  -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY \
  --data-urlencode url=https://example.com \
  -o shot.webp

ScreenshotNeo accepts cookie or consent banners like a visitor and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and response headers report the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server lets AI agents use take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. Sign up for 1,000 free screenshots a month, with no card required.

8. API examples for a repeatable capture

These examples capture a webpage URL from a script and save the returned bytes. Replace the example URL and API key. They do not operate the phone or prove a specific F15 pixel size; consult the API documentation for viewport and other capture settings.

Python

import requests

response = requests.get(
    "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot",
    params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://example.com"},
    timeout=90,
)
response.raise_for_status()
with open("shot.webp", "wb") as image_file:
    image_file.write(response.content)

Node.js

const q = new URLSearchParams({
  access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY',
  url: 'https://example.com'
});
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`Screenshot request failed: ${res.status}`);
const bytes = new Uint8Array(await res.arrayBuffer());
await import('node:fs/promises').then(fs => fs.writeFile('shot.webp', bytes));

ScreenshotNeo also supports PNG, JPEG, and PDF output, full-page capture, device presets and custom viewports, waits, custom CSS and JavaScript, caching, and other capture options. Use the documentation for supported parameter names and values. Responses identify the page verdict and whether a shot was billed. The listed plans are Free (1,000/month), Starter ($5 for 3,000), Growth ($15 for 15,000), Pro ($39 for 60,000), Scale ($99 for 250,000), and Business ($249 for 1,000,000); annual billing gives two months free, and every feature is on every plan.

9. FAQ

Where are Galaxy F15 screenshots saved?

The F15 guide says you can view screenshots in Gallery.

Can every website be captured as one long screenshot?

No. Scroll capture may be unavailable on some websites and apps, and appears only when there is content beyond one screen.

Does Palm swipe capture a full webpage?

Palm swipe starts a standard screenshot. Use Scroll capture afterward to extend it when that option is available.

Does an API screenshot show exactly what I see on my F15?

Not automatically. A server-side capture uses its configured viewport and page state. Match those settings to the desired result and compare the output; the F15 guide does not establish a device-specific API viewport.
