How to Screenshot Product Pages on Amazon India After Choosing a Pincode

Choose your Amazon.in delivery pincode, confirm the product page reflects it, then capture the screen on Android or iPhone. Here are the steps and limits.

Choose the delivery pincode on Amazon.in first, wait for the product page to update, and check that the displayed location is the one you intended. Then take a screenshot using your phone’s built-in controls. On Android, press Power and Volume Down together. On an iPhone, the buttons depend on whether it has Face ID or a Home button. A long-page capture is available only when your device offers that option.

A pincode helps Amazon show location-related availability and delivery options. It does not guarantee that a particular product can be delivered there, or that a delivery estimate will stay the same. Amazon describes pickup availability as dependent on both the product and the pincode being eligible (Amazon India shopping tips).

1. Set and verify the pincode on the product page

  1. Open Amazon.in in the Amazon Shopping app or a browser and go to the product you want to capture.
  2. Find the page’s delivery-location or address control. Its label and position can vary by app, browser, and version.
  3. Choose or enter the intended Indian pincode and submit it if the page asks you to update or confirm.
  4. Wait for the product page to refresh or update. Check the delivery/location context shown on the product page before taking the screenshot.

Amazon’s guidance describes entering a required pincode to check product availability; the exact tap sequence is not identical across every interface. Follow the prompt visible on your screen. A product can remain unavailable, show different delivery options, or have no delivery promise for the selected location.

2. Take the screenshot on Android

  1. Leave the updated product page visible at the part you want to preserve.
  2. Press Power + Volume Down at the same time, then release.
  3. Use the preview to inspect, crop, edit, or share the capture. Screenshots are commonly available in the phone’s Photos or Gallery app, often in a Screenshots folder.

If the button combination does not work on your device, hold Power briefly and tap Screenshot if that option appears. Button alternatives can vary by manufacturer. Google documents the standard combination and this alternative in its Android screenshot instructions.

Capture a longer page on Android

After taking a screenshot, look for Capture more in the preview. Google says scrolling capture is available on Android 12 and later on most screens that allow scrolling. If the option appears, adjust the crop handles to include the content you need and save it. It is not available on every phone, app, or screen. If Amazon’s product page does not offer it, capture separate sections and keep the screenshots in order.

3. Take the screenshot on iPhone

  • iPhone with Face ID: Quickly press and release the Side button and Volume Up together.
  • iPhone with Touch ID: Quickly press and release the Side button and Home together.

Tap the screenshot preview to crop, mark up, save, or share. Apple documents both button combinations in its iPhone screenshot guide.

Capture a full page on iPhone

For supported content, the screenshot preview may offer Full Page. Apple gives a complete webpage in Safari as an example. This option may not appear for an Amazon app screen or every browser view. If it appears, review the full-page preview and save it as an image or PDF as offered. Otherwise, take separate screenshots of the page sections.

4. Keep the location context clear

  • Make sure the selected location is visible in the capture when possible. If it is not, take an additional screenshot that shows the location context.
  • Include the product title and the delivery or availability details you need, while cropping out unrelated screen content.
  • For a long product page, use scrolling or full-page capture only if your device offers it. Otherwise, capture overlapping sections so the order is clear.
  • Review the saved image before sharing. Confirm it shows the right product, selected location, and relevant page details.

A screenshot records what was displayed at that moment. Availability, price, and delivery estimates can change after capture, so do not treat an image as a live confirmation.

5. Troubleshooting

Problem Likely cause What to do
The product page still shows the previous location The pincode update has not completed, or the page did not refresh its delivery context. Use the visible delivery-location control again, submit the pincode, wait for the page to update, and verify the displayed location before capturing.
The product says delivery is unavailable The product or its current offer may not be serviceable at that pincode. Keep the pincode selected if that is the result you need to document. A selected pincode does not guarantee availability.
Power + Volume Down does nothing The buttons may not have been pressed together, or that phone uses a different shortcut. Press and release both buttons together. On some Android phones, hold Power and tap Screenshot. Check the phone maker’s instructions if neither works.
There is no Capture more or Full Page option Long capture depends on the operating system, app, browser, and screen. Use the visible-screen screenshot and capture further sections separately. On iPhone, Apple documents Full Page for supported content such as Safari webpages; on Android, scrolling capture is available on Android 12 and later on most scrollable screens.
The long capture cuts off content or includes too much The capture crop may not match the desired section, or the page may not scroll as expected. Adjust the crop handles when available. If the result is incomplete, use multiple regular screenshots instead.
The screenshot is missing from the gallery It may still be in the capture preview, or stored in a Screenshots collection rather than the main camera roll. Save from the preview, then check Photos or Gallery and its Screenshots folder.

6. ScreenshotNeo option for browser-based capture

For an already accessible product URL, ScreenshotNeo can return a screenshot through one API request. It does not perform the interactive Amazon pincode-selection steps described above; select the pincode and verify the page context yourself first. A server-side request may not share the signed-in app or browser session, so use this for pages that are accessible to the API and verify the resulting image. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation.

cURL

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://www.amazon.in/dp/ASIN -o shot.webp

Python

import requests

r = requests.get(
    "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot",
    params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://www.amazon.in/dp/ASIN"},
    timeout=90,
)
r.raise_for_status()
with open("shot.webp", "wb") as image:
    image.write(r.content)

Node.js

const q = new URLSearchParams({
  access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY',
  url: 'https://www.amazon.in/dp/ASIN'
});
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`Screenshot request failed: ${res.status}`);
await import('node:fs/promises').then(({ writeFile }) => writeFile('shot.webp', Buffer.from(await res.arrayBuffer())));

Or skip the browser setup

For an accessible URL, the API returns a screenshot in one request. Cookie banners, popups, and chat widgets are removed before the shot. Bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are never billed. An MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server from ScreenshotNeo; its tools cannot choose the Amazon pincode for you.

7. Performance, reliability, and cost

A phone screenshot is immediate and uses the page already open on your device. Long captures can take more time to inspect and save, and may not be supported by the current app or screen. For a repeatable API capture, network access and page load time affect how quickly the image is returned. Confirm the output shows the expected location context; a successful request alone does not establish Amazon availability for a pincode.

ScreenshotNeo offers 1,000 shots per month free with no card. Paid plans are Starter at $5 for 3,000, Growth at $15 for 15,000, Pro at $39 for 60,000, Scale at $99 for 250,000, and Business at $249 for 1,000,000. Yearly billing gives two months free, and every feature is on every plan. Its response includes page-verdict and billing headers; cache hits and bot checks, CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, and failed loads are not billed.

FAQ

Does choosing a pincode prove the item can be delivered there?

No. The page uses the pincode to show location-related availability and delivery options, but serviceability and offers depend on the product and location.

Can I take a full-page screenshot from the Amazon app?

Only if your phone presents a long-capture option for that screen. If it does not, capture sections separately. Apple’s documented Full Page example is a supported webpage in Safari.

Will ScreenshotNeo set my Amazon delivery pincode?

No. Select and verify the pincode on Amazon first. The API captures an accessible URL; it does not carry out the interactive selection workflow.
