How to screenshot product prices on Croma and track changes

Save a clear record of a Croma product price, then use Chrome or a compatible tracker to watch for changes. Learn what each method can and cannot track.

A screenshot records the Croma product page and price visible at one moment; it will not detect later changes by itself. For a useful record, capture the product name or model and its price together, and save the page URL and capture date and time. To monitor changes, use Chrome’s price tracking when the product is eligible, or check whether a third-party tracker supports the exact Croma listing.

1. Capture the Croma price you see

  1. Open the exact Croma product page and check that the product name or model, displayed price, and any relevant offer terms are visible.
  2. Capture enough of the page to connect the price to the product. If the name and price do not fit in one view, take overlapping screenshots or use your device’s scroll-capture feature if available.
  3. Keep the original product URL with the image. Note the date and time of capture so you can tell when the displayed price was observed.
  4. Save the screenshot somewhere you can find later. Avoid cropping away the product identity, price, or offer conditions you may need to compare.

Screenshot controls vary by device and model. On some Samsung phones, for example, the manual describes using Side and Volume Down buttons and offers scroll capture for long pages. Those button steps are model-specific, not universal across Android phones, iPhones, and computers. See the Samsung manual hosted by Croma for that example.

2. Track a product with Chrome

Desktop Chrome

  1. Open the Croma product page in Chrome. Shopping Insights may appear from the address bar for products Chrome recognizes.
  2. Open Shopping Insights to review available price history and price range.
  3. Choose Save and track price to track an eligible item. Trackable items may also be saved with the bookmark control and found in the Shopping list.

Chrome on Android

  1. Open the product page in Chrome.
  2. If the price-insights control or the browser menu’s Track prices option is available, use it to track the product.
  3. Find tracked items under Bookmarks → Tracked products. Chrome documents controls for price-drop and email notifications on mobile.

Google lists India among the regions where Shopping Insights and Chrome price tracking are available. Its prerequisites include being signed in to Chrome with a Google Account, syncing tabs and history, and enabling Make searches and browsing better. Controls and eligibility depend on the device, browser interface, and whether Chrome recognizes that particular product. Consult Google’s desktop instructions and Android instructions for current steps.

3. Consider a Croma-compatible price tracker

The Price History app listing says it supports Croma and offers price history and price-drop alerts. Its browser extension describes tracking and history graphs for supported stores. These are claims from the service publisher; they do not guarantee that every Croma product, variant, or URL is covered. Search for or open the exact listing in the tool and confirm it is recognized before relying on it. See the Price History app listing and its Chrome extension listing.

Do not assume a tracker has historical prices for a Croma product before you added it. The extension listing distinguishes long-term data for Amazon India and Flipkart from tracking newly added products at other stores. Check what history is actually shown for the specific item.

4. Know what each method tells you

Method One-time record Future alerts History and coverage
Device screenshot Yes, saves what was visible at capture time No Your record only; retain the URL and capture time
Chrome price tracking Can show price insights for recognized products Tracking and notifications are available when eligible Depends on Chrome recognizing the product and account/settings requirements
Third-party tracker May provide a history view The Price History listing advertises price-drop alerts Confirm exact Croma product support and whether history predates tracking

Croma’s FAQ describes tracking delivery status for an order in a customer account. That is order tracking, not product-price tracking; the reviewed FAQ does not establish a Croma price-history or price-alert feature. See Croma’s FAQ.

5. Keep comparisons reliable

  • Compare the same item: confirm the model, storage, colour, and other variant details have not changed.
  • Record offer conditions: note visible coupons, bank offers, exchange terms, or other conditions that affect the effective price.
  • Reopen the same URL: product pages and variants can change; confirm the page still refers to the item you saved.
  • Separate observation from monitoring: a screenshot proves what you saved, while a tracker or later manual check is needed to discover a change.
  • Verify before acting: revisit the listing to confirm the current price and terms before making a purchase decision.

6. Troubleshooting

Chrome does not show Shopping Insights or a tracking control

The item may not be recognized, the control may not be available in that browser or on that device, or account and settings prerequisites may be missing. Sign in to Chrome, check the documented sync and browsing settings, and try the desktop or Android flow that applies to your device. If the control still does not appear, capture the page manually and check a tracker that supports the exact listing.

The tracker cannot find the Croma product

Support for a store does not mean every product or variant is supported. Open the exact product URL in the tracker, check whether it identifies the correct item, and do not rely on alerts until the listing is recognized.

No earlier price history is displayed

Some tools may only begin tracking after a product is added, and coverage varies by store. Treat the first observed value as the start of your record unless the tool clearly shows earlier history for that listing.

The screenshot does not show both the product and price

Zoom out if the text remains readable, use scroll capture if your device supports it, or take overlapping screenshots. Keep the URL and capture time with the images.

The price seems different when you return

Check that you opened the same product variant and compare visible offer terms. A saved image records the page as it appeared then; it does not establish that the same offer remains available later.

7. Or skip the browser setup

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. It can save the visible Croma product page as an image, but a screenshot alone does not monitor future prices or send price-change alerts. Use a tracker for ongoing monitoring, and a screenshot when you need a record of what the page showed.

For example, this cURL request saves a WebP screenshot of a product page. Replace the example URL with the exact Croma product URL and provide your API key. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://www.croma.com/product/example -o croma-price.webp

ScreenshotNeo accepts cookie or consent banners as a visitor and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and response headers identify the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server provides take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf tools for Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots. Every feature is on every plan.

8. FAQ

Does a screenshot automatically track a Croma price?

No. It preserves one observation. Use a price tracker or revisit the product page to find later changes.

Does Croma show product price history?

The reviewed Croma FAQ describes order delivery tracking, not product price history. Chrome or a third-party tracker may provide price information for an eligible, recognized listing.

Will a tracker show prices from before I added the product?

Not necessarily. Historical coverage varies by store and product. Check the dates shown for the exact listing before treating them as earlier records.

Can I track every Croma product in Chrome?

The sources do not establish universal coverage. Chrome price controls depend on product recognition, device, account, and settings.
