How to Capture Screenshots of Product Pages with a Selected Delivery Option

Choose the delivery option, wait until it appears on the product page, then capture and check that the product and selection are both readable.

To capture a product page with a particular delivery option selected, choose the destination or option first, wait until the page visibly reflects that choice, and then take a screenshot. Check the saved image to make sure it shows both the product identity and the selected delivery detail. The selection controls differ by retailer, region, account, and page, so there is no single selection flow that applies everywhere.

Before you capture

  1. Open the product page in the browser or app where the delivery choice is available.
  2. Select the destination or delivery option you need to document. If the page requests an address or location, enter only what is necessary for the selection.
  3. Wait for the page to update. Look for visible confirmation such as a selected option, delivery wording, or an updated estimate.
  4. Arrange the page so the product name and the delivery detail are both visible and readable. If they cannot fit together, plan to take two overlapping screenshots.

The screenshot records what the page displayed at capture time. It does not establish that the option will remain selected later, that the estimate is guaranteed, or that the item will ultimately be delivered under those terms.

Capture on Android

Open the product page and press Power + Volume Down to take a normal screenshot. On supported devices, use the scrolling capture option to include more of the page:

  1. Take the normal screenshot.
  2. Tap Capture more when the control appears.
  3. Adjust the crop guides to include the product identity and delivery selection, then save the result.

Google says scrolling capture works on Android 12 and up on most screens that allow scrolling. Availability and control names can vary by device maker, and a particular retailer page may not support it. See Google’s Android screenshot instructions.

Capture on iPhone

On an iPhone with Face ID, press the Side button + Volume Up. On an iPhone with a Home button, press the Side button + Home.

For a long webpage in Safari, take the screenshot and tap Full Page if that option is offered. Inspect or crop the capture, then save it to Photos or as a PDF in Files. Full-page capture is useful when product and delivery details are far apart, but check that the relevant text remains legible. Apple’s instructions cover iPhone screenshots and full-page capture.

Capture on an Amazon Fire tablet

Amazon Silk lets you scroll webpages and request either the mobile or desktop site. Choose the layout that makes the product title and selected delivery wording easiest to read. Silk’s help instructions do not specify a universal screenshot shortcut; use the capture controls documented for your particular Fire tablet and software version. See Amazon Silk browser help.

Capture in a computer browser

Use the screenshot command provided by your operating system or browser. The exact shortcut depends on the computer and software, so consult its current help if you do not know the command. For a normal screenshot, keep the product title and delivery detail in the visible viewport. If the page is longer, use a full-page capture only if your browser or capture tool supports it, then inspect the saved image for readability and unwanted page content.

Check the result before sharing

  • Product identity: The product name or other identifying detail is visible.
  • Delivery choice: The selected option or delivery wording is readable, not merely implied by a checked control.
  • Context: Enough of the page is shown to make clear which product the delivery detail belongs to.
  • Legibility: Text remains readable at normal viewing size. If it is too small in a full-page image, use a closer capture or overlapping screenshots.
  • Privacy: Review the image for unrelated account details, addresses, tabs, or notifications. Crop or redact private information before sharing, while preserving the context needed by the recipient.

If you need two images, include a shared section of the page in both so the product and delivery information can be related. Avoid editing the selected option or its wording in a way that could make the screenshot misleading.

Or skip the browser setup

For automated captures, ScreenshotNeo can capture a product page with one API request. It supports viewport or full-page captures and outputs PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF. A browser screenshot API cannot select an arbitrary retailer delivery option for you: the page must already display the desired state, and retailer-specific controls may require a signed-in browser session or other interaction.

For a URL that is already in the desired state, this cURL request saves a WebP capture. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for the API and available parameters.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" \
  -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY \
  --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com \
  -o shot.webp

Replace the sample URL with the product page URL. The example uses a publicly accessible page; a private page that depends on your personal browser session may not be accessible from an API request. Use supported request configuration such as cookies or headers only when appropriate, and avoid exposing private credentials in shared code.

Cookie banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets are removed before the shot; each cleanup step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, and failed loads are not billed, and cache hits are not billed. The response includes headers that indicate the page verdict and billing status. ScreenshotNeo also provides an MCP server so AI agents can take screenshots, get page information, and capture PDFs. The Free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots.

Troubleshooting

What happened Likely cause What to do
The screenshot shows the old delivery option. The page had not finished updating, or the selection did not apply. Return to the page, make the selection again, wait for visible confirmation, and capture once the wording changes.
The product title and delivery detail do not fit together. They are too far apart in the page or the viewport is too small. Try a supported full-page or scrolling capture and inspect readability. Otherwise take two overlapping captures.
The Android scrolling capture control is missing. The device or screen may not support extended capture. Google documents the feature for Android 12 and up on most scrollable screens. Use separate screenshots if it is unavailable.
The iPhone screenshot has no Full Page option. The current app or content may not offer full-page capture. Try the webpage in Safari if appropriate, or take separate screenshots of the relevant sections.
The long capture is difficult to read. The full-page image scaled a long page into a small image. Use a viewport capture focused on the key details, or take overlapping images at a readable scale.
A delivery estimate differs when someone reopens the page. The screenshot is a record of the displayed state at capture time, not a promise of a future estimate. Keep the capture’s date and relevant context with it when needed; do not present the image as proof of a later state.
An automated capture shows a challenge or incomplete page. The target may present a bot check, be blank, time out, or fail to load. Check the page manually and capture the visible intended state. ScreenshotNeo identifies page verdict and billing status in response headers; those failure outcomes are not billed.

Performance, reliability, and cost

For a one-time personal capture, the built-in screenshot feature on the device is usually the shortest path. A full-page image can take longer to inspect and may reduce text readability; use it only when the additional coverage helps. A screenshot is a point-in-time record, so verify the choice immediately before capture and retain the original if the image matters as documentation.

For repeated captures or an automated workflow, an API avoids setting up and maintaining a browser capture script. Confirm first that the page can be reached in the state you need: a capture service does not make a retailer’s selection flow universal. ScreenshotNeo bills clean shots; bot checks or captchas, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing. Its plans are Free: 1,000 shots per month; Starter: $5 for 3,000; Growth: $15 for 15,000; Pro: $39 for 60,000; Scale: $99 for 250,000; Business: $249 for 1,000,000. Yearly billing gives two months free, and every feature is available on every plan. See the docs for configuration details.

Frequently asked questions

Does a screenshot prove that delivery is available?

It shows what the page displayed when captured. It does not independently verify inventory, eligibility, or future delivery availability.

Should I use a full-page screenshot every time?

No. Use one when it helps include relevant details. If the result makes the delivery wording too small, a focused screenshot or two overlapping images is clearer.

Can I capture a product page that requires my account?

Device screenshots capture what is displayed in your signed-in browser or app. An API request may not share that session; only use a service configuration and credentials suitable for the page and your privacy requirements.

Can I save a long iPhone webpage as an image?

Apple documents saving a full-page screenshot to Photos or as a PDF in Files. Check the result and choose the format that suits how you need to use it.
