To screenshot a product price on an Urban Company store page, open the exact product, wait until its name and displayed price are visible, and capture the screen with your phone’s built-in screenshot controls. Check the saved image to make sure the product identifier, currency, and price are all readable. The screenshot records what appeared at that moment; it does not guarantee the price or availability will stay the same.

1. Prepare the product page

  1. Open the product or store page in the Urban Company app or browser.
  2. Wait for the product details and displayed price to finish loading.
  3. Where practical, show the product name or another identifying detail and the price together. Keep the currency and any selected variant or visible offer in frame if they matter to your record.
  4. Adjust the page so the price is not covered by a menu, keyboard, notification, or other overlay. Make sure the text is large enough to read.

Store-page behavior can depend on the specific listing, device, app version, and market. The available research does not establish how Urban Company renders prices in every case or whether screenshots are permitted on every screen. If a screenshot is blocked or the price is absent, do not assume the same behavior applies to every product page.

2. Take the screenshot on your phone

Android

  1. With the product and price visible, press Power and Volume Down at the same time, then release.
  2. If that does not work, some Android devices show a Screenshot control after you hold the Power button.
  3. On Android 12 and later, many devices support scrolling screenshots on screens that allow scrolling. After taking the screenshot, tap Capture more and adjust the crop guides if you need more of the page.

Button behavior and scrolling-capture availability vary by device. Google’s Android screenshot instructions describe the common controls and alternatives.

iPhone

  • Face ID models: Press the Side button and Volume Up at the same time, then release quickly.
  • Touch ID models with a Side button: Press the Side button and Home button together.
  • Models with a top button: Press the Top button and Home button together.

To find the saved image, open Photos and look in Collections > Media Types > Screenshots. Apple’s iPhone screenshot instructions cover the button combinations; preview and save controls differ between iOS 26 and earlier versions.

3. Verify and keep a useful record

  1. Open the screenshot from your Photos or Gallery app.
  2. Check that the product can be identified and that the full price, including its currency, is visible and legible.
  3. Retake the screenshot if the price is clipped, obscured, too small, or separated from the product details needed to understand it.
  4. If you need to preserve it as a record, keep the original image intact. Label any annotated copy as edited.

A screenshot is evidence of what was displayed on your screen at capture time. It does not prove that the price will remain available, that it is the final checkout total, or that an offer applies to another account or location.

4. Troubleshooting

What happened Likely cause What to do
The button combination did nothing The timing or controls vary by phone model, or the buttons were not pressed together. Press the two buttons at the same time and release. On some Android devices, hold Power and choose Screenshot. Check the device maker’s instructions if needed.
The screenshot is missing from the gallery The capture may still be saving, or you may be looking in a different album. Wait briefly, then check the Screenshots album or search Photos/Gallery for recent screenshots.
The price is cut off or hard to read The page was not framed well, the text was too small, or an overlay covered it. Dismiss overlays, adjust the page zoom or position, and capture again. Inspect the saved image before sharing it.
The screenshot contains only part of a long page A standard screenshot captures the visible screen. Use scrolling capture if your Android device offers it and the screen supports it. Check that the resulting price remains readable.
The price is not shown or the capture is blocked The particular page or screen may behave differently; the available research does not confirm the cause. Check that the page has loaded and that the price is visible on screen. Do not treat this as a confirmed general restriction across Urban Company pages.

5. When browser automation is useful

For one price on your phone, the built-in screenshot feature is usually enough. If you are building a repeatable browser workflow for pages you are authorized to access, use a browser screenshot API or browser automation; mobile button instructions do not apply to those workflows. Prices can change, so record the capture time and preserve the original output when it matters.

Or skip the browser setup

For a browser-accessible page, ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. Its one-call API returns an image or PDF; the example below saves a WebP response. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options. Replace the target with the product page URL you are authorized to capture.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
import requests

r = requests.get(
    "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot",
    params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://stripe.com"},
    timeout=90,
)
open("shot.webp", "wb").write(r.content)
const q = new URLSearchParams({ access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', url: 'https://stripe.com' });
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`Screenshot request failed: ${res.status}`);
const fs = await import('node:fs/promises');
await fs.writeFile('shot.webp', Buffer.from(await res.arrayBuffer()));

ScreenshotNeo removes cookie and consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each cleanup step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and response headers report the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server offers take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf for Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots. Keep an API key private, and verify the returned image just as you would a phone screenshot.

FAQ

Does a screenshot prove the price is still current?

No. It records what was displayed when you captured it. The price or availability may change afterward.

Should I use a scrolling screenshot?

Use one only when the product and price do not fit together on screen and the longer capture remains legible. On Android, scrolling screenshots are available on many supported screens; device support varies.

Do I need a separate app to save the price?

No. Your phone’s built-in screenshot controls are sufficient for capturing a visible product price.
