To capture the part of a website currently visible in Chrome on a Nothing Phone, press Power + Volume down at the same time. To capture more of the page, use Chrome’s More > Share > Long screenshot flow, or Android’s Capture more option if it is available on your device. [Google’s Android screenshot instructions]

Choose the kind of screenshot you need

Goal Use What to expect
Capture what is on screen now Power + Volume down A screenshot of the visible screen.
Capture a longer web page from Chrome Chrome Long screenshot Adjustable page capture you can save or share.
Extend a screenshot down a scrollable screen Android Capture more Available on Android 12 and later on most screens that allow scrolling; availability can vary.

Take a screenshot of the visible website

  1. Open Chrome on your Nothing Phone and navigate to the website.
  2. Scroll until the content you want is visible.
  3. Press Power and Volume down together.
  4. Use the screenshot preview or notification to open, edit, share, or save the image.

This is the standard Android screenshot shortcut. The image captures the current screen, so content above or below the visible area will not be included. [Android: Take a screenshot]

Capture a longer web page in Chrome

  1. Open the page in a regular Chrome tab.
  2. Tap Chrome’s More menu, then tap Share.
  3. Choose Long screenshot.
  4. Drag the crop handles to include the portion of the page you want.
  5. Tap Confirm, then save or share the result.

Chrome’s Long screenshot flow is designed to capture a longer page and lets you adjust the capture area before confirming. Menu labels or availability can differ across Chrome and Nothing OS versions. [Chrome Help: Take a screenshot or record your screen]

Use Android’s Capture more option

  1. Press Power + Volume down to take the initial screenshot.
  2. If Android offers Capture more, tap it.
  3. Adjust the crop guidelines to include more of the scrollable content.
  4. Save or share the finished screenshot.

Google documents scrolling capture on Android 12 and later for most screens that allow scrolling. If Capture more does not appear, the current app or page may not support it, or the feature may not be available in that software version. Try Chrome’s Long screenshot flow for a web page. [Android: Take a scrolling screenshot]

Find and prepare the page before capture

Show the desktop layout

If you need the desktop version of a site, open Chrome’s More menu, select Desktop site, then refresh the page if its layout does not update. Chrome also supports a default desktop-site preference and per-site exceptions; the exact setting path may vary by release. [Chrome Help: Use desktop mode]

Choose the capture boundaries

For a normal screenshot, scroll to the exact content you need before pressing the buttons. For a long screenshot, review the top and bottom crop handles so the result does not include browser content you do not need or cut off the last section.

Locate the saved image

In Google Photos, look under Collections > On this device > Screenshots. If Photos is not installed, check the Gallery app’s Screenshots folder. [Android Help]

Or skip the browser setup

If you need a website screenshot from code or an automated workflow, ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. One GET request returns an image or PDF. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
import requests

)
open("shot.webp", "wb").write(r.content)
const q = new URLSearchParams({ access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', url: 'https://stripe.com' });
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);
if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`Screenshot request failed: ${res.status}`);

  • Cookie and consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets can be removed before capture.

Troubleshooting

Problem Cause What to do
Power + Volume down does not capture The buttons may not have been pressed together, or the device may not have registered the press. Press both buttons at the same time and release. If needed, try again from the page you want to capture.
There is no Long screenshot option The Chrome version, page, or OS may not expose that flow. Check for Chrome updates, try Android’s Capture more after taking a screenshot, or capture the visible screen in sections.
Capture more is missing Scrolling capture is not available on every screen or software version. Use Chrome’s Long screenshot option, if present, or take multiple screenshots while scrolling.
Chrome says screenshots are blocked Chrome blocks screenshots in Incognito. Open the same page in a regular tab and capture it there. [Chrome Help]
The screenshot shows the mobile layout The page is using its responsive mobile layout. Select More > Desktop site in Chrome and refresh before capturing.
The saved image is hard to find It may be in the device’s screenshot folder rather than the main photo timeline. Check Google Photos under Collections > On this device > Screenshots, or the Gallery Screenshots folder.
A long capture cuts off or includes extra content The selected crop boundaries do not match the desired page region. Adjust the handles before confirming. Some pages also load or rearrange content as you scroll; capture in smaller sections if needed.

Nothing OS menus and gesture preferences can vary by model and release. The Power + Volume down shortcut is the broadly documented Android method; do not rely on a particular Nothing-specific gesture setting path being present on every phone. [Nothing Community]

Reliability and capture tips

  • Wait for the page to finish loading before capturing, especially if images or embedded content appear late.
  • For a page that changes while scrolling, capture smaller sections so you can verify what was included.
  • If the site displays different content on mobile, switch to Desktop site and refresh before starting the screenshot.
  • Check the saved image before sharing; long captures can include private information farther down the page.
