To screenshot a website in Samsung Internet on a Galaxy phone, open the page, take a normal screenshot with the phone’s Power/Side button and Volume Down buttons, then tap Scroll Capture in the toolbar to include more of the page. Tap it again or press and hold it if your phone offers that control. Stop when you have the content you need; the screenshot is saved to Gallery. Button names, menu paths, and toolbar behavior can vary by Galaxy model and One UI version. Samsung India’s Scroll Capture guide describes the feature and save/share flow.

Take a scrolling website screenshot

  1. Open Samsung Internet and navigate to the webpage.
  2. Scroll to the point where you want the screenshot to begin. Scroll Capture generally extends the screenshot down the page from the current view, so choose the starting position first.
  3. Press the Power/Side button and Volume Down buttons together to take a normal screenshot. On some models, the buttons’ positions or names differ. Check your phone’s model-specific guidance if this combination does not work.
  4. When the screenshot toolbar appears, tap Scroll Capture (the icon may look like a pair of downward arrows). Samsung India describes tapping it repeatedly to capture hidden content. On supported newer interfaces, you can continue scrolling with the control or press and hold the icon to capture farther down.
  5. Stop when the screenshot includes the content you need. Tap outside the toolbar to finish on interfaces that use this control. The image is saved to Gallery; depending on your device, you may also see a save or share option.

The page must be scrollable for Scroll Capture to appear. Capture length depends on the page and device; the resulting image may be resized automatically.

Visible screenshot or Scroll Capture?

Option Use it when What it includes
Normal screenshot You need only what is currently visible. The current screen.
Scroll Capture You need more of a long webpage in one image. The visible screen plus additional scrollable content captured below it.

Scroll Capture is a built-in Galaxy feature; this workflow does not require a separate screenshot app or accessory.

If Scroll Capture is missing

  • Check that the webpage can scroll. Scroll Capture is offered when scrolling is possible. Try a longer page in Samsung Internet to distinguish a page limitation from a setting issue.
  • Check the screenshot toolbar setting. Current Galaxy guidance places it at Settings > Advanced features > Screenshots and screen recorder > Show toolbar after capturing. Menu names and paths can differ by model and software version. If the toolbar is hidden, you may not see the Scroll Capture control after taking a screenshot.
  • Try tapping the control more than once. Samsung India’s instructions describe repeated taps to capture additional hidden content. Newer interfaces may also support pressing and holding the icon.
  • Check whether the page or mode restricts capture. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip6 guide says screen capture is unavailable in Secret mode. That is a device-specific guide, so behavior can vary across Galaxy models and software versions.
  • Confirm the first screenshot worked. If no toolbar appears at all, check the button combination for your phone and the toolbar setting before troubleshooting the webpage.

For India-specific feature steps, see Samsung India’s Scroll Capture instructions. For the current toolbar setting path and hold-to-capture behavior, see Samsung’s Galaxy Scroll Capture guidance; the regional page’s labels may not match every Indian handset.

Or skip the browser setup

If you need screenshots from a desktop workflow, script, or AI agent rather than the phone’s current screen, ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. A GET request with a URL returns a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for options.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
import requests

r = requests.get(
    "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot",
    params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://stripe.com"},
    timeout=90,
)
open("shot.webp", "wb").write(r.content)
const q = new URLSearchParams({ access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', url: 'https://stripe.com' });
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);

ScreenshotNeo removes cookie banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture. Bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are never billed. Its MCP server lets AI agents use the take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf tools. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots.
