How to Take a Scrolling Screenshot of a Hindi News Website in Edge

Capture a Hindi news page from top to bottom with Edge’s built-in Screenshot tool, then save the full-page image.

To capture a Hindi news website from top to bottom in Microsoft Edge, open the page, press Ctrl+Shift+S, choose Capture full page, review the result, and save it. Edge’s full-page capture includes content below the part currently visible on screen. The steps are the same for Hindi and other languages; the capture is based on the webpage, not its language.

Take and save the full-page screenshot

  1. Open the Hindi news article or page in Microsoft Edge.
  2. Start the Screenshot or Web capture tool by pressing Ctrl+Shift+S. You can also open Edge’s Settings and more menu and choose the screenshot or capture command. Microsoft also documents launching it from the right-click menu.
  3. Choose Capture full page to capture the webpage from top to bottom.
  4. Review the capture, then save it to your device. The tool also supports copying the capture and marking it up before saving.

Menu labels and feature availability can vary by device, market, and Edge version. Microsoft’s instructions describe the full-page option as the middle capture option.

What to expect on a Hindi news page

The full-page command is not specific to Hindi or to a particular publisher. It captures the webpage, including content below the fold, so you do not have to take and stitch together a series of scrolling screenshots yourself.

A full-page screenshot records what Edge has rendered. Do not assume it will contain every story or media item on a dynamic page: some sites load content only after scrolling, waiting, or interacting, and Microsoft’s general instructions do not guarantee that every dynamically loaded element will appear. If a story section is missing, try scrolling through the page to let it load, then capture again.

Choose full-page or selected-area capture

What you need Capture choice
The whole article, including content below the visible screen Capture full page
Only a headline, image, or passage currently on screen Use the selected-area capture option, if available

Use the full-page option when you need the complete page in one capture. Choose an area when you only need a specific visible portion.

Troubleshooting

Problem Likely cause What to try
The shortcut does nothing The command may be unavailable in your current browser version or on your device. Open Edge’s Settings and more menu or right-click the page and look for the screenshot or capture command. Check that Edge is up to date if the feature is missing.
You do not see “Capture full page” The available capture options can vary by browser version, device, or market, or you may have opened a different capture tool. Open the Edge Screenshot/Web capture command and check its available options. Microsoft notes that feature availability and functionality can vary.
The screenshot stops at the visible area A selected-area capture was chosen instead of a full-page capture. Start the capture again and choose Capture full page.
Some article content is missing The page may load sections or images dynamically. Scroll through the article, wait for its content to render, and take another full-page capture. A general full-page feature description cannot guarantee capture of every dynamic element on every site.

Or skip the browser setup

If you need to capture pages from code or an automated workflow, ScreenshotNeo provides a website screenshot API and MCP server. Its API can return a screenshot or PDF from one GET request. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for the available options.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://example.com -o shot.webp
import requests

r = requests.get(
    "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot",
    params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://example.com"},
    timeout=90,
)
open("shot.webp", "wb").write(r.content)
const q = new URLSearchParams({ access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', url: 'https://example.com' });
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);

Replace https://example.com with the page URL and YOUR_API_KEY with your access key. ScreenshotNeo accepts cookie and consent banners before capture and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets; each step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and response headers identify the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server gives AI agents tools to take screenshots, get page information, and capture PDFs. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots.

Performance, reliability, and cost

For an occasional screenshot, Edge’s built-in capture avoids setting up an API or paying for a screenshot service. For repeated captures, automation, or a workflow that needs consent banners removed, an API can reduce manual browser steps. Dynamic page content can still affect what appears in any capture, so allow the page to render before capturing and review the result when completeness matters.

FAQ

Does this work for Hindi text?

Yes. The documented steps are webpage-based and do not depend on the page language.

Can I save the capture without capturing the whole page?

Yes. Use the selected-area option when you only need part of the visible page; choose Capture full page for content from top to bottom.

Why is the command missing in my Edge installation?

Microsoft says availability and functionality may vary by device, market, and browser version. Check the available Screenshot/Web capture command in Edge’s menu and the browser version you are using.
