How to Capture a Full-Page Screenshot of a UPI Web App on Windows

Capture a long UPI web app page in Microsoft Edge on Windows, save or copy the result, and check it for sensitive information before sharing.

To capture a full-page screenshot of a UPI web app on Windows, open the page in Microsoft Edge, right-click the page and choose Screenshot, or press Ctrl+Shift+S. Choose the full-page capture option, inspect the preview, then save or copy the image. Edge can capture webpage content below the visible screen; Windows Snipping Tool is better for a visible area, window, or screen capture. Microsoft documents Edge Screenshot and notes availability can vary by browser version, device, and market.

Capture the full UPI page in Microsoft Edge

  1. Open the UPI web app page in Edge and wait for the content you need to appear. If the page requires sign-in, use the app as you normally would and avoid capturing anything you do not intend to share.
  2. Right-click the page and select Screenshot. If that option is not shown, press Ctrl+Shift+S.
  3. Choose the full-page capture option in the screenshot interface.
  4. Review the resulting preview. Check that the parts below the fold are present, and that sticky headers, menus, dialogs, or loading placeholders have not obscured important content.
  5. Use the overlay’s copy or save option. If needed, use the available markup tools before sharing.

Microsoft describes Edge Screenshot as able to capture a full webpage, including content that normally requires scrolling, and says the overlay supports markup, copying, and saving. Moving content such as a carousel or GIF may remain on screen during capture so a frame can be selected, but behavior can differ across pages and browser builds.

Full-page capture versus Windows Snipping Tool

A browser full-page screenshot and a screen capture answer different needs. Edge’s Screenshot feature is the direct choice when the image must include the webpage below the viewport. The official Snipping Tool modes are rectangular, freeform, window, and full-screen captures; they do not describe scrolling-page capture.

Need Use How to start
The whole long webpage, including below the fold Microsoft Edge Screenshot Right-click and choose Screenshot, or press Ctrl+Shift+S
One visible part of the page Edge selected-area capture or Snipping Tool In Snipping Tool, press Windows+Shift+S and select a region
The browser window or the entire current screen Windows Snipping Tool Open Snipping Tool and choose a window or full-screen mode

See Microsoft’s guidance for opening Snipping Tool and taking a screenshot. Use it when a screen-area capture is enough; it is not a substitute for Edge’s documented full-page webpage capture.

Protect UPI details before sharing

A UPI page may contain information that should not be made public. Before sending or publishing a capture, inspect the entire image—not only the part initially visible—for names, payment details, account identifiers, QR codes, transaction information, and any other private data. Crop or mark up the image as appropriate. This is a precaution for the UPI context, not a claim that every UPI web app displays these details.

  • Capture only the page state needed for your explanation or report.
  • Review the top, middle, and bottom of a long capture for private details and accidental overlays.
  • Redact sensitive content before sharing; cropping may be insufficient if the information appears elsewhere in the page.
  • Keep an unredacted capture private when it is needed for authorized troubleshooting.

If Screenshot is missing or the capture looks wrong

Symptom Likely cause What to try
Screenshot is absent from the right-click menu The feature may not be available in this browser version or environment, or the context menu differs on the page. Try Ctrl+Shift+S. Check Edge’s version and feature availability; Microsoft cautions that availability varies by device, market, and browser version.
The shortcut does nothing The shortcut may be unavailable, intercepted, or different in the installed build. Try the page context menu. If neither entry point appears, use Snipping Tool for the visible area or check Edge availability.
The image shows only the visible viewport A selected-area capture may have been chosen instead of full-page capture. Repeat the capture and choose the full-page option, then inspect the preview before saving.
Content is missing or appears unfinished The page may still be loading, or a dialog, sticky element, or dynamic content may affect what is visible during capture. Wait for the intended page state, dismiss irrelevant overlays, and capture again. Check the preview from top to bottom.
Snipping Tool will not scroll the webpage into one image Its documented modes capture an area, window, or screen rather than a scrolling webpage. Use Edge Screenshot’s full-page option for the complete page.

Or skip the browser setup

For automated website captures, ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. A single GET request can return a screenshot or PDF. This example saves a screenshot of the UPI page as a WebP image; replace the URL with the page you are authorized to capture and provide your API key.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp

Other runnable request forms:

import requests

r = requests.get(
    "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot",
    params={"access_key": "YOUR_API_KEY", "url": "https://stripe.com"},
    timeout=90,
)
open("shot.webp", "wb").write(r.content)
const q = new URLSearchParams({ access_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', url: 'https://stripe.com' });
const res = await fetch(`https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot?${q}`);

See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options. Cookie banners, popups, and chat widgets are removed before the shot; bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are never billed. Its MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card, and paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. Sign up for the free plan.
